HBA Member Highlight: Meet Advanced Impressions!

1. What does your company do in a nutshell?
Advanced Impressions is an Apparel Decorator and Advertising Specialty Items Distributor. We offer embroidery, screen printing, digital printing, laser engraving on drink wear, and leather/leatherette patches, as well as bulk ordered advertising specialty items. 

2. What sets your company apart in your field?
How we care for each and every customer. It doesn’t matter if we’re working on one piece of apparel or thousands, we take the time to understand our customer’s need so we can deliver exactly what they want.

Since we decorate our apparel in-house, we can also ensure that the end product is up to our (high!) standards. Not only beautifully decorated, but produced on time and exactly how the customer wants. There is a lot we do and we enjoy seeing the happiness that branded items brings to our customers.

3. How long have you been operating, and how did your company get started?
We started our business in 1996, but Tom started as a screen printer in 1988 working for other companies.  He had a sincere passion for the craft and wanted to strike out as a business owner. That was 29 years ago and we’ve been going strong ever since.

4. What’s something your company is working on that you’re super excited about?
Advanced Impressions has been developing on-demand merchandise webstores for our customers. We can build a custom apparel and merchandise online store, at no extra cost, dedicated to the customer’s business.

This allows their team to get exactly what they want and need without the company having to store a closet full of apparel in a size might not be used. We free the staff person who would normally be collecting and distributing orders to do the vital roles they were hired to do while we take on the task of outfitting their team. We have over 100 stores currently and have gotten tremendous positive feedback for the quality of work as well as faster delivery time.

5. How can other members collaborate with or support your company?
The HBA members can support our company by using our services and referring us to others that may need us.

6. What inspired you to join the HBA, and how has it benefitted your company?
We joined the HBA to expand our network and we have met so many professionals in the industry. These relationships have been great and we look forward to offering our services to the membership.

7. Why do you think associations like ours matter in today’s business landscape?
Well, specifically the HBA offers a lot of opportunity to people in the building industry, from education and support, to educational opportunities. The networking with others broadens their scope of influence and creates a stronger more successful industry.
