The Community Housing Affordability Taskforce (CHAT) and the Affordable Housing Collaborative gave a housing affordability presentation to Council at the April 25 City Council work session. During the council presentation, representatives from HBA and several other community organizations shared thoughts and ideas on how agency, industry, and the community can work together to build more housing stock with the help of our elected officials and leaders. Several Emerging Leaders were in attendance to show support, along with other respected industry and agency partners. This was an important step in the right direction. The HBA and our partners are committed to moving the needle forward and will continue to work with the City and County to implement fair and equitable solutions.
