As Executive Officer of the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs, Marla leads the organization’s overall strategy, operations, and advocacy efforts. She works closely with the HBA’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, and continues to oversee government affairs, including public policy, regulatory issues, and political engagement. Marla also manages the HBA’s Political Action Committee (PAC) and maintains strong relationships with local elected officials and community leaders to ensure the voice of the industry is heard at every level.

Marla has been with the HBA since 2007 and brings a deep understanding of land use, development policy, and housing issues. She is passionate about protecting housing attainability and promoting responsible growth throughout the region.

When she’s not working, Marla enjoys camping, gardening, and hiking with her beloved birches.
