CONTRACTORS HEALTH TRUST
CHT offers qualified employers with employee benefit coverage that provides high value, increased choice and increased flexibility.
Contractors Health Trust (CHT) was established in 1968 for the sole purpose of providing a health benefit plan to cover eligible employees of participating employers. The Plan is available exclusively to employers who are members of the Colorado Contractors Association, the Associated General Contractors of Colorado and the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs.*
The Contractors Health Trust offers comprehensive benefit programs that include medical, dental, hearing, vision, life, and accidental death & dismemberment benefits.
The CHT benefit programs are specifically customized to meet the unique demands of the construction industry. Contractors Health Trust was created for contractors, designed by contractors and managed by contractors. Learn more.

“CHT insurance gave us a much lower co-pay, deductible and out-of-pocket cost than our previous plan at a monthly premium savings of $1,579 per month for insuring 11 employees. For the majority of our employees the monthly premium went down so we experienced an overall savings in our group. The savings per month was so great for some of our older employees they elected to take the $1,500 deductible plan over the $2,500 deductible plan and still saved money! Our employees are very happy with CHT’s 80/20 plan and they really enjoy the lower co-pays.”
