CHT offers qualified employers with employee benefit coverage that provides high value, increased choice and increased flexibility.
Contractors Health Trust (CHT) was established in 1968 for the sole purpose of providing a health benefit plan to cover eligible employees of participating employers. The Plan is available exclusively to employers who are members of the Colorado Contractors Association, the Associated General Contractors of Colorado and the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs.*
The Contractors Health Trust offers comprehensive benefit programs that include medical, dental, hearing, vision, life, and accidental death & dismemberment benefits.
The CHT benefit programs are specifically customized to meet the unique demands of the construction industry. Contractors Health Trust was created for contractors, designed by contractors and managed by contractors.
CHT continues to manage renewal rates at well below many reported healthcare cost increase trends over the past several years!
* To be eligible, employers must be in the residential or commercial construction industry and have at least two full-time employees covered under the plan. Coverage is subject to an underwriting process.

In 2020, CHT employers that have field employees enrolled in the Hour Bank Contribution method of payment (hourly rates) for Medical Plans, will experience a 2.5% increase throughout the State of Colorado.
In 2019, CHT employers that have employees enrolled in the Monthly Contribution method of payment (monthly rates) for Medical, Plans, will experience a 5.5% increase throughout the State of Colorado.
In 2019, CHT employers that have employees enrolled in Dental will experience a 2% increase and Vision plans will experience no increase throughout the State of Colorado for those products.
DISPATCH HEALTH
Now Colorado Springs residents, partners, and providers can request care from DispatchHealth, a mobile acute care provider that offers the same board-certified doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and EMTs you would see in your local emergency room. Equipped to treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses, DispatchHealth brings their care right to your door. Hours of operation will be from 8 AM-8 PM, 7 days a week, including all holidays. HBA Members with healthcare through the Contractors Health Trust program will pay a flat fee of $250 for each visit.
